Private natal yoga sessions with Libby offer birthing folks the space to care for their body, mind, and heart during pregnancy and postpartum. In these sessions, Libby shares movement, breath, and meditation practices that support baby and mother. Each session is tailored to address physical discomfort, pelvic floor health, regulate the nervous system, soothe the mind, and nurture inner empowerment.
What the Sessions Include

Breath Practices
Libby will share specific breath practices for the different stages of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
When you are pregnant you are breathing for two. Your breath supports healthy circulation of blood, oxygen, and amniotic fluids in your body. Your breath soothes your nervous system, which supports healthy blood pressure levels. Your breath helps soothe pain and fear during labor.
Yoga Movements
For pregnancy yoga movements that address individual needs for pain management, getting baby into optimal birthing position, and healthy circulation.
For labor yoga movements related to the pelvic floor, pelvic bones, and spine that can be done during first and second stage labor to ease pain and help baby arrive smoothly.
For postpartum yoga movements that support pelvic realignment, postural support, healing the pelvic floor and deep rest.
Meditations and yoga nidra
Libby will share meditations with visualizations and mantras that are beneficial during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
During all four trimesters, multitudes of thoughts run through the mind and feelings through the heart. Meditation helps focus your awareness on what is most supportive, nourishing, and life giving. Meditations connect you with your intuitive wisdom and empower you to make decisions from a place of clarity and compassion.

Meet the Teacher
Hi, I’m Libby, a mother to a sweet 2-year-old, a wife, and a yoga teacher of nine years. In the years prior to my pregnancy, I learned I had an autoimmune condition (CIDP) that weakened the muscles on one side of my body. I started on a healing journey for CIDP just before becoming pregnant. When it was time for labor, I ended up being induced and experienced many hours of contractions and pushing. After giving a vaginal birth my best effort, I decided that having a cesarean birth was best for me and my baby. My labor combined with my autoimmune condition lead to several months of recovery in postpartum.
Through my lived experience and professional natal yoga training, I’ve taken a deep dive into caring for the birthing body during pregnancy and in postpartum. I’d love to support you on whatever journey your pregnancy takes you!
