As you expand into your fulness as a mother, you naturally make choices of what to take with you and what to shed or leave behind. As your baby expands into their fullness, they invite you to meet them there. Through expanding into a new version of you, you see yourself differently and relate to the world differently. You transform. You grow. You evolve. These are cycles of growth with beginnings, middles, and ends.
The big life moments create energetic shifts in your body, heart, and mind. You feel these endings and beginnings in your body just as much as in your mind. Naming them and acknowledging them enables you to grow, transform and expand into the fullness of you. 💓
Some beginnings and endings in motherhood:
Becoming pregnant - Being an individual is ending and truly becoming a provider and sustainer of life is beginning.
Giving birth - The period where baby is inside your womb is ending and baby being earth side is beginning.
Stopping breast feeding - Baby relying on your body for food is ending, feeding baby through other forms of food is beginning.
Baby/Child sleeping by themself - Baby/child sleeping with you is ending, baby/child sleeping in their own bed is beginning.
Daycare/School - Baby/Child staying home with you (or a nanny/caregiver) is ending, baby/child going to a school/daycare is beginning.
Remember You is a mama’s circle that offers you the space to rest and be witnessed by other mamas who are caring for themselves as an act of collective care. During our time together you will be guided in yoga nidra, reflect with self inquiry prompts, and share in conversation with other mamas. Remember You is hosted monthly in Kingston, NY.
