Remember You is a mama’s circle that offers you the space to rest and be witnessed by other mamas who are caring for themselves as an act of collective care. Remember You is an hour-long gathering that is hosted monthly by Libby Nicholaou in Kingston, NY. During our time together, you will be guided in gentle restorative yoga, reflect with self inquiry prompts, and share in conversation with other mamas.
Theme: Love for the Birthing Body
What would you tell your best friend who was newly pregnant and feeling out of touch with their body? What would you tell them once their baby is born and they are navigating healing their body while carrying for their little one? What would you tell them five/ten/twenty years later when they are going through perimenopause, menopause, and all the hormonal changes?
The birthing body is so powerful - from growing a tiny human, to bringing them into the world, to re-membering the body back together. Of course, the birthing body is going to transform to something new in this magnificent process. Regardless of whether or not a person’s pregnancy and postpartum experience was seamless end-to-end, the body shifts inside.
How do we honor these shifts? How do we love this new version of the body?
For this circle, we will begin with a restful practice of yoga nidra, followed by inner reflection, and sharing around we can celebrate and honor our birthing bodies.
You will receive a special item to take home as well.
