Remember You is a mama’s circle that offers you the space to rest and be witnessed by other mamas who are caring for themselves as an act of collective care.
Remember You is an hour-long gathering that is hosted monthly in Kingston, NY. During our time together, you will be guided in gentle restorative yoga, reflect with self inquiry prompts, and share in conversation with other mamas.

Your relationship with yourself gains complexity when you become a mama. You see yourself through the eyes of your little ones, you may feel compelled to heal old wounds, and you may experience intense emotions as you raise your little one in our modern world.
It can be challenging to find the space in daily life to sit with all the feelings and thoughts parenthood brings up. The responsibilities related to family life often outweigh time for self care. At Remember You, there is still and quiet space to compassionately connect with yourself and tend to the feelings inside.

You are invited to join our circle of mamas.
Your whole self is invited - your healing, your wisdom, your doubts, your dreams, your fears, your abilities, your disabilities, your trauma, your age, your race, your sexuality, and your gender identity - your whole self is welcome in our circle.
You are invited to rest and be held by the compassion of other mamas.
You are invited to soak up the immense wisdom that our collective of mamas contains.
You are invited to receive complete self care, which contributes to our collective care.
At Remember you, we hold space for each other to share at our own timing and consider what is shared as a gift. We feel everyone has a gift to share, whether it is in words, gestures, or presence. We meet each other with compassion, knowing each person’s life - pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, labor, mothering/parenting - contains a unique complexity of its own. We withhold judgement of ourselves and others as we listen to hear and speak from our truth.
This circle is continually evolving and growing. If you are considering coming for the first time, you will likely not be the only newcomer. If you are currently pregnant for the first time, you are welcome to join us too!
What You Can Expect
Imagine walking into a softly lit room, where a place is set for each person with a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, tea mug, and journal. You can rest back or chat with other mamas before our time together begins.
We’ll start with a restful yoga nidra practice, so you can shed the intensity of your week and refresh your energy. You’ll then have a chance to journal in response to questions related to the evening’s theme.
Then we will open up to group sharing, with the invitation for each person to share if they choose. You may also choose just want to nod along to what other mamas are going through.

About the facilitator
Libby is a mama, community builder, and yoga & meditation teacher who moved to the Hudson Valley in 2023. Through the first year of raising her baby, she found yoga to provide the nourishment she needed to fill her cup after long hours of caregiving. She began Remember You as a way to hold space for other mamas to care for themselves in the same way.
Libby has 7 years of experience facilitating circles in mental health outpatient settings, professional settings and for traumatic brain injury populations. She has over 700 hours of yoga training certifications, has been teaching yoga since 2017. She formed her own restorative yoga teacher training 2022.
